Eugene Weekly, a local rag out of Oregon, is glorifying violence.
Eve Winston, the male author performs woman by his “fabulous” clothing choice, but his words and actions are those of a violent man looking to strike out at those pesky TERFs who keep refusing to acknowledge his obvious womanliness. He's wearing pink, after all. Long hair, fingernail polish. His performance PROVES he's a woman.
What gives him away as a man, other than the AR-15? His hatred and anger toward those who won't kneel before the alter of transgender ideology. He says, “Being a transgender woman today can be scary, especially with the current presidential administration and its crackdown on transgender rights.”
Scary? Because Republicans won't bend the knee to transgender demands? You know what, those transgenders should get equal rights, don't you think? Let's let them get married.
Oh wait, they can get married. It's not like they're gay before 2015.
How about we let them own property. And go to school. And walk in the park.
Oh wait, they can already to all those things. So what rights do transgenders actually want? Sex-based rights meant for the opposite sex.
After the UK Supreme Court decided that so-called "trans women" aren't actually women, a bunch of men doing a poor attempt at “performing woman" protested in distinctly male ways. They exhibited fury by lobbying death threats at the women who don't believe in the religion called trans ideology. Trans Priority Activists (TP Activists) protested in London by urinating and defacing the statue of suffragette Millicent Fawcett. Huh, urinating. Sounds like such a feminine way to protest, doesn't it? While male transgenders claim to honor women, defacing a statue of a historic, brave woman who fought for women's rights belies their claims. Flashing their fake moobs, looking as creepy as possible in their performance of "womanliness" and screaming out their violence toward feminists truly shows their hatred of women.
Tell a "trans woman" No and you'll quickly see the male persona emerge.
Yep, they're angry. They're furious at the Trump executive order Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism And Restoring Biological Truth To The Federal Government.
They're mad about the US Supreme Court Skrmetti decision that declares states may protect vulnerable children from the transitioning profiteers. (OK, that's my descriptor of the evil doctors, surgeons and pharmaceutical companies, not SCOTUS' language.)
They're pissed that transgenders who have been claiming they have some sort of disorder that needs expensive medical treatment are being kicked out of the military for having, you guessed it, a disorder. And then there's the problem with pretending to be the opposite sex and demanding everyone around you lie in agreement to not hurt your fee fees. None of that is compatible with the military, which requires honesty and integrity from service members.
They're angry that their attempt to rewrite history has been corrected by Trump's National Park Service. A butch lesbian threw the first brick at the Stonewall riots in NYC. Lesbian and gay men, including cross-dressing gay men participated in the protests. The idea of a man literally changing his sex as a transgender women didn't even exist back then. I knew those men. They got up the next day, dressed in male stereotypical attire and went to work in NYC. But the revisionist story TP Activists made up is that a trans woman threw the first brick, not a lesbian. Now TP Activists claim that lesbian and gay Americans should be grateful to transgender women for giving us gay rights. The Biden Administration accommodated this fantasy story, and the Trump Administration has now corrected it. Sorry, not sorry TP Activists.
Trans Priority Rights Activists (TP Rights Activists) are so mad about losing the right to self-ID into the opposite sex that the Eugene Weekly (EW) published an article encouraging them to arm themselves with guns in order to protect their priority rights. EW, a liberal/socialist/progressive rag in a liberal/socialist/progressive city in a Democratic-led state is desperately trying to remain relevant. What better way than to encourage transgender people to get concealed carry permits and a weapon. Along with a picture of a dude with an AR-15 style rifle, they declare him to be Armed and Fabulous.
What's more womanly than an angry man with a gun demanding you use his “girl pronouns.”
From pistols to AR-15s and AK-47s, queers are learning to bash back, protecting themselves from surging levels of violence and political hatred.
Bash back against policies that reaffirm sex is real? Who exactly are they intending to bash? Those of us who stand for women’s rights?
Surging violence? C'mon. Have you ever seen a woman protesting for women's rights go up to a transgender and punch him in the face? No, me either. But we've all seen plenty of obnoxious Trans-Priority Activists (TPAs) punch, push and scream at female protesters standing up for women's rights. They used megaphones to blast the ears of old women in wheelchairs at the Dyke March well over a decade ago. They knocked old women using walkers onto the ground. They encourage each other to “punch TERFs in the face.” There are tens of thousands of rape and death threats against us on social media.
They're the ones who are violent, not us.
Now, if it was actually true that transgender people were being attacked and murdered frequently, then sure, it makes sense for transgenders to be armed for protection. So I asked AI for a list of all the murdered transgender people in the state of Oregon over the past few years. Whoops, not one showed up in the search! There still could be a few, but clearly it's women who bear the brunt of male violence, not male transgenders.
So what are Trans Rights Priority Activists (TRPAs) encouraging people to fight for? What rights are they demanding? The right to oppress women of course. Female transgenders, those who call themselves "trans men," aren't really much of a problem. Although it's irritating to gay men to be told they're bigots if they don’t want to have sex with a bearded person who has a vagina, for the most part female transgenders aren't disrupting society. They're just hairy looking women. It's not like they're suddenly able to take spots on male football teams and displace those athletes. It's not like they're going to beat out male basketball players. They’re only women. They're not going to hurt male rugby players with their puny female bodies, no matter how much hair they grow by taking testosterone. They're basically not a threat, except for when testosterone makes female transgenders crazy enough to murder people. (Yes, that actually happened. T can make you crazy angry.)
A woman who is killed by guns has a high likelihood of having been murdered by an ex husband or ex boyfriend. It's just not true that transgender people are a higher risk of assault or murder. The author is encouraging transgenders to bash over supposed “political hatred.” Reclaiming women’s rights from the men who are oppressing us is not something for which women deserve to be bashed. The guy who wrote this is obviously conflating standing up for our rights with imaginary violence towards him and other transgenders.
Obviously we have a huge problem with male transgenders beating the crap out of females in sport. We have a problem with male convicted rapists claiming to be women and getting into female prisons. Only in Democratic-led states, of course. Because elected Democrats are dopes on this issue. Or maybe they're just being bribed by the Transitioning Profiteers (TM). Those male transgenders are now raping female prisoners in blue state prisons. Religious advocates of transgender ideology generally ignore those new rape cases. But when pressed, they claim those convicted male rapists are not actually transgender; they're just lying about being trans. (Well, duh!) The problem is there's no test for transgender because it's not a real condition. It's a choice.
So what rights do transgender people need to protect by using guns? And why do they need to get a concealed carry permit as the EW article suggests, unless they want to get close to a woman standing up for women's rights? Many say that misgendering someone is "actual violence." Or that not accepting that a man has magically changed his sex through his performance of "woman" is also "actual violence." His article links to what TRP Activists call anti-trans bills, but those state and federal laws are simply corrections to Democrat Party's destruction of women's rights. When the Biden Admin used executive overreach to redefine the word “sex,” the Dems broke women's rights. Now we have to correct those problems. The TPRAs are mad, mad, mad that some parts of the government (Republicans) have finally realized human beings can't change sex and have begun to stop men who pretend to be women since Dems encouraged those men and boys to oppress women and girls.
I'm concerned that young, foolish transgenders and their hot-headed allies will be encouraged by the Eugene Weekly article to get a gun to shoot middle-aged women in the face for protesting males in female sport and heterosexual men who call themselves lesbians. Yep, those men who pretend to be women think they have the right to screw lesbians and call them bigots and gender fetishists on dating apps, even when they politely say No to dates with men. TPAs and their allies are already targeting us for protesting. I've personally been attacked three times in the past 2 years. The last thing I want is an armed nutcase angry at me for misgendering him and pulling out a gun.
Please go to Eugene Weekly and add share your opinion on encouraging unstable people to get guns. Feel free to cut and paste anything you see in my article that you'd like to use for a quick rebuttal in EW's comment section.
Also, you may have noticed that I'm trying a few different new expressions to replace the labels Trans Activists and Trans Rights Activists with something that makes it clear that these people want to have rights that are priority over female sex-based rights. Feel free to let me know in the comments below which version you prefer.
My preferred term is “transqueer activists” (TQAs). I’ve also seen “trans entitlement activists” (TEAs).
But I never ever call them “rights” activists, because they are not advocating for any "rights" as traditionally understood, but rather for special privileges for a set of self-selected men.
The problem with the word "rights" is that most people think "rights" are a good thing. This is of course a deliberate strategy by the TQAs, who have (I'm sorry to say) proven to be masters of language manipulation.
So females have to suffer with biological men as fellow inmates to protect the safety of trans men. I don’t think so.
